Challenging International Borders: Succeeding in a Global Career
Today, more and more careers require international business experience and the understanding of cultural differences play an important role in one's professional effectiveness. This is particularly pertinent for women who work in countries where there are differences in opinion about women in the labor force. This panel will address the challenges implied by the global workplace and how an individual as well as society as a whole deals with the increased migration of the young workforce. Successful women with international work experience will share perspectives on the rewards and sacrifices that expatriates might expect.

Leveraging Female Success Factors
In this panel, successful businesspeople will discuss some of the noticeable qualities of those who have made it to the top. Also panellists will discuss what women can do not only to attract employers but advance in their careers. In particular, participants will highlight characteristics that have set successful women apart from others and enabled them to achieve their goals. The panel will also address the challenges and benefits for women who work in primarily male-dominated work environments.

Emerging Trends Panel: Microfinance
Microfinance has drawn millions of women to partake in commercial economic activity; it enables them to take advantage of new opportunities and develop new roles as cash income earners and economically active members of the community. The ripples of women's microfinance can build into waves of transformation, leading not only to greater self-confidence and new roles for women, but also to powerful institutions able to take on complex new tasks serving the whole of society. In this panel, practitioners from non-profits, NGOs and financial institutions will discuss the basic financial services involved in microfinance - such as credit, savings and insurance. Also, they will address how these services give an opportunity to borrow, save, invest and protect families against risk. It will also address how Microfinance can contribute to women's empowerment and sustainable development around the world.

Challenging Gender Stereotypes and the Role of Choice
This panel will address both the political and cultural issues involved in gender roles and the different career choices men and women must face down the road. Businesswomen will present their personal experiences and policy makers as well as journalists will address the issues from a broader macroeconomic perspective. Panellists will also share their experiences on the initiatives firms have taken to attract and retain talented women, and their opinions on how these efforts translate into more job offers and senior positions being extended to women.

Conquering New Ideas in Entrepreneurship
In this panel, successful female entrepreneurs will share their experiences and ideas on the world of entrepreneurship, as well as strategies they have deployed for creating and building innovative businesses that affect and improve our lives. Participants will share their views on what differentiates these women and how they have succeeded in taking the risk beyond inception to full fledged entrepreneurial companies. The panel will also seek to identify any particular industries (e.g., children's products, fashion, charities) in which women have been disproportionately successful and what makes these industries particularly attractive for female entrepreneurs.
