The London Business School Women in Business Club invites you to its 7th Annual Conference - Creating Opportunities in an Evolving Business World - on Friday, October 20, 2006, at the London Business School Campus.
The Women In Business Conference at London Business School has firmly established itself as a leading women's conference in Europe. The conference goal is to contribute to London Business School's mission of developing the leaders of tomorrow while exploring critical business, economic, political, and social issues of today.
The theme of this year's conference, "Creating Opportunities in an Evolving Business World" recognises the dynamic environment of today's business world and addresses how to embrace this change with a career-enhancing strategy. Whether you are a senior executive, a student on the brink of a new career path, or a professional seeking a change, learning from others is vital to your professional and personal development. This conference, which will be opened by Dean Laura Tyson and will host highly successful and inspirational speakers, who will share their empowering experiences.
The distinguished keynote speakers include Vivienne Cox, CEO of Bramdean Asset Management at BP, and Laura D. Tyson, Dean and Professor of Economics at London Business School. Twenty-four panelists will participate in topics that will address issues for women in the business world and provide guidance and insight on how we can better leverage our support networks, improve our individual careers and benefit our organizations.
Through our format of keynote speeches, panel breakout sessions and networking sessions, we aim to achieve the following:
- Provide inspiring female role models for current students and corporate executives
- Create networking opportunities between conference participants
